Ok so I think I'll really commit this time

Hello all!

I have no idea how many people read this thing. I can't imagine very many seeing as how I haven't updated my blog since last year! I confess, I have been a horrible blogger, but like I stated in the title...I think I'll really commit this time! So many people have blogs and I love reading them! I just have no idea how to put mine out there and let everyone know I have one. I guess I can always add it to my facebook status.

Anyhow, I'll start by updating what I did this weekend. On friday I don't really remember what we did. I am trying to think of it but it is not coming to me. Oh well moving on...saturday was FUN!!! Matt and I took his dad's boat out on lake conroe. Talk about having to work together as a team! My man did such a great job getting the boat loaded and unloaded basically by himself. I am sorry to say that as much as I tried to help and wanted to help I just wasn't very good at it. We cruised around the lake for a few hours and headed back to Houston. We then made our way to a dear friends bbq and pool party. It was a lot of fun but we ended up leaving around 10:30 because we were so tired and had to get up and go to church the next morning. On sunday we went to church and whereas we are missing pastor gregg, the guest speaker was terrific! Matt and I both really enjoyed hearing him speak the last couple of weeks. His name is Afshin Ziafat. His testimony is so inspiring. We then went to lunch with my darling friend Lauren! I hadn't seen her in over a week and it was just way to long. After lunch we helped out a fellow brother in Christ with some things and then decided to go see a movie. We saw the ugly truth and for anyone wanting to see it I do NOT recommend it! It was so vulgar I left the theatre feeling dirty. It had been a long time since we had seen a rated R movie and I don't plan on going to one like that again. My man spoiled me with some marble slab afterwards and if you like blackberries I highly recommend that you try theirs! We then decided to see another movie since it was still early. This time we did NOT go to a rated R. We went and saw Time Travelers Wife. It was rated PG-13 and whereas I liked it, it definately was not all that the media has hyped it up to be. It was a little strange and way to unrealistic for my tastes but it was a sweet movie and I did like it.

So now its monday and I am ready for a good week at work. Even though I came to work a little dissheveled this morning. I fully expect God to continue to be faithful! He is sooooo awesome ya'll and loves us more than we can comprehend! I am holding on to that truth today!

Blessing to Ya'll!

Whitney
